Dimensions of photo album spreads, file resolution, ICC color space

1. Size of the album in cm and inches and the format of the spread to be designed (height x length):

REMEMBER! When designing centerfolds, allow for around 3-5 mm of bleed, which will be trimmed in the production process.

Significant graphic elements should not be placed there. During the exposure process, spreads are proportionally reduced by 2% so that as little as possible is cut off when trimming the album block. If you want to keep the 1:1 design, indicate it in the comments to the order. In this case, allow for a bleed of 6-8 mm.

2. File resolution and ICC color space:

• actual size file in mm/cm or inches at 300 DPI (pixel per inch)
• files should have a standard color profile (sRGB), they cannot be in Grayscale (grayscale) or in CMYK
• saving files in JPG (or flattened TIFF without 8-bit compression)

Possibility to download ICC color profiles for each paper used in order to verify the color of the files.

On request, we send sample printouts on FUJI DPII papers from the file you send for visual comparison and calibration of the monitor.
